About 4 years ago I purchased a pair of LFT'6's.
After reading some of the reviews of the earlier versions of Eminent Technology speakers I decided to try a second pair. To the left and right of my LFT-VI's I have added a pair of LFT-4's.
The combined sound is way better than I had hoped, more than the sum of the two. The bass is much ghter and fuller. The image is really big, and these babies can crank! Now I want to sell them, but have no idea how to price this combo.
The LFT-6's are the Cardas wired version, except for one tweeter which was repaired by the factory and returned with a small amount of factory wire. They also have the optional custom covers, and the original boxes which are kind of rough around the edges.
The 4's do not have covers, I don't believe they were ever offered for this speaker, nor do I have boxes.
These speakers are vintage, having not been made in a long time.
My dillema is how to go about pricing these speakers. The combo, if purchased new, would cost around $6,800 in 1980's dollars.
