sorry to double post but I got NO ANSWER on the amp forum.
My preamp does not output signal digitally (C2200). So it goes in analogue to my Brytson XO.
I am thinking of DCX 2496 which is digital, with XLR ins and outs. From there it would go to my digital amps (Spectron Musician and D-Sonic ICE). Does this twice digital sampling of the signal increase the odds I will hear digital distortion such as grain, similar to the way audio .wav, .FLAC. files suffer when you convert them from one format to another (and back).
