Quad 57 - Question on damping material

Hi y'all

I finally bought myself a pair of 57s. They have been reconditioned and plays surprisingly loud. I have been trying to get best out of it at the moment.

Other than the thick felt pads mounted right on the back cage behind the tweeter panels, I did not see any more damping material.
Is this correct?

I read from the archives that there is more damping material directly behind the tweeter panels and it should not be removed.

Thanks for any info you can shed on this. If there is more damping material, how do I get some and how much to use.
