 35 years ago, in 1989, Chris Isaak was not nationally-known. But we San Franciscans knew about him. He supposedly lived in the Sunset, and liked to go to Ocean Beach, in order to surf.  Isaak came out with "Don't Make Me Dream About You," which made us want to go to Ocean beach, cold water be damned. Even here in S.F., "Don't Make Me Dream About You" wasn't all that known. And today, you still do not hear "Don't Make Me Dream About You" anywhere. -Lummy The Loch Monster
