Received the outlet yesterday. Chris told me to give it 8 hours to settle in. They burn in the outlet for two weeks.
I can say it is not tip up like the R1 or DX, it is very open, quick, good overtones and imaging is very good, vocals are natural.
This was after I turned the system on and let it run while I worked outside, at first bright and little bass dynamics. That all cleared up quickly so I would say his 8 hours is about right.
This much better than the Telsa already. Compared to the Porters I say at this short point, more open, quicker in the bass, vocals seem clearer with great articulation.
I still will let them settle in and see how I enjoy my system, if that does not happen then I know something is missing, and that is the Soul, the Feel, the meat on the bones. But so far so good. Could be a keeper, and great value.

Good to hear the positive feedback so far. I'm anxious to hear your thoughts after the 8 hours of settling. I might just pop mine in this weekend.
Good improvement today. May be a keeper, more transparent, but no edge either, sound stage is wider, bass is cleaner, vocals have more detail and air. It's like a Porter but better in many areas is how I am feeling now; the Porter is warmer, perhaps a touch more body, but then it is warmer so that is expected, but less air, tone and color stick out touch easier.
I played Harry James on Sheffield Labs 20 bit, band swing, sounded powerful, could hear clearer drumming, tones about the same (that's good), just a better transparency.
Does not give a strong sonic signature like the Oyaide’s or the Telsa. Looking forward to your feed back. I think I would give the outlets a good few days to settle in before I listen at all with a critical ear.
I am going to switch some tubes now and see how they work out.

...I'll let it cook over the weekend and maybe Sunday give it some critical listening. I found a new thread on Audiogon that you might want to comment on.
Outlets settled in about 3 days. They are excellent. I just wwitched to my NOS, 12AX7 Brimar tube for my line stage and all I can say is wow! Weight, tones, and musical as all get out.
The outlet does it job nicely. I think you are going to be happy with the purchase, I used two to cover all my gear so what I am hearing well be different that what you hear if your only trying one out, so you have the added sonics of the other outlet.

...and installed the Maestro. It replaced the Porter Port that my preamp and tuner are plugged into. Even though it is now working together with the Porter Port that my amps are plugged into, after just three hours, I hear a smoother presentation, with less grain. The Maestro is very neutral. So far, no sonic signature. I'll let it cook in the system and see how things go. So far, very musical presentation.
Same thing I found. Two totally different systems. Vocals are done real nice as well as bass, high hats I noticed also. Things flow and sound less electronic or perhaps forced?
Look forward to your post.

Any further impressions on this outlet?Any comparison to the Jena Labs cryoed hubbels?
