I just had an 'I wonder' moment.I've see a video some years ago showing a guy making tubes. I was wondering just how TOUGH it is making 2 alike enough be be considered 'matched'?

IF anyone is going to start manufacture, I'll help with setting up the vacuum system.....You NEED a very good vacuum with high enough pumping rate to meet production numbers.....

Those items might make for interesting yard art or planters for someone as geeky about tubes as I am. But manufacturing? C'mon.
I'd be interested in the mica dies if a supply of NOS mica sheeting was included.
Hey - this has me wondering about the fantastically hyped RCH tube manufacturing venture that seems to have faded as quickly as a the gettering in a tube with ruptured glass. Maybe someone there will buy this junk? ;^)>
