have bought from this seller before, so I do not have questions about her integrity, but have question about this tube. I am looking for a 1960s Mullard E88CC/6922 and this is a Amperex logoed, but made my Mullard according to the seller from 1960. Are you tube gurus aware of such and would that be comparable to the ones coming out of Britain with Mullard logos?TIA.

You may already know, but just a reminder that E88CC/6922 are the heavy duty version of the ECC88/6DJ8. The tube in the eBay ad is an ECC88/6DJ8. Both excellent tubes but priced accordingly depending on what you need.Edit: the GA in the tube code means ECC88/6DJ8. Refer to Ivan's link for E88CC/6922 "tube type" codes. There's a link within the link there.

etched codes tell the tale.
on one of the photos
Tube codes: GA2 B0A3
So what does this tell?

GA2 is the type, and B0A3 is location and date.
B is Blackburn Mullard plant IIRC, but check all this with Ivan's code linque...- :)
