Those tubes were pretty rare even when I got my first tube preamp in 1988. Thirty plus years on, and I suspect the chances of finding somebody that has experiences with all four of those is slim to none.
I've never heard one, although I have a friend who has a few of the US made PWs. He loves the way they sound but will not use them in his rig because of how microphonic they are.
If you're in pursuit of some, be sure to ask how quiet, and or microphonic they may be before purchase.
Follow Ups:
I have all 4 types but was wondering if there are known sonic signatures vs. just plug them in and try.
I am also fortunate that none of them to date have been even slightly microphonic.
Either that or the EAR is just well built and doesn't let tubes ring.
I do use tube dampers, which may mitigate this and I weight down the EAR with lots of brass weights.
To my ear, these are the best Pinched Waist E88CC,strange plate ?
