I'm unable to start a new thread anywhere on the Asylum. (Same thing on videoasylum.com.) That's why I'm using this reply to contact you. I can't see any other way.
I no longer have a 'new thread' form appearing at the bottom of the page of any forum's thread view. I've tried a couple different browsers, and also private/incognito mode to disable any script blockers. I can't see anything local that may be blocking it. I've tried logging out/in, no change.
Follow Ups:
We switched the new topic posting to a separate page to ensure that it would be fully secure. Sorry, more than a few people were confused because the post dialogue at the bottom disappeared when a new topic was posted causing the menus and other library snippets to be updated for the hmtl cache for the Classic view.

Just a simple idea of what you could do. I think the 'Post New Message' button/link would be best set it off on its own and then given an ID attribute so that it can easily be styled uniquely. It should probably also be labeled something like 'Start New Thread'.
The sea of buttons should probably be set out and styled as a list to make it more flexible. You can throw in the [ and ] using CSS's :before and :after pseudo-elements in the stylesheet. To remove them, I just made them transparent.
That's a nice quick mark up.
We're working with a bootstrap framework and menus are a big issue.

Ok, thanks. Wow. You buried it in just about the last place I'd look.
