I've heard the LX521 at SL's home, about a year before he passed away. They are very nice speakers! As dipoles, they do benefit from being placed several feet out from the wall in order for the listener to appreciate their excellent sound, imaging, and ambient room sound. I don't remember what EQ was used to tailor the driver outputs, but he does use MiniDSP for the crossovers, which also has EQ capabilities.

Nothing wrong about the speaker as it should be reasonably good.

I'm just complaining about those people who runs the Oplug not allow different voices, dictatorship!!

I found pure class A amplifier if properly set up in a multi-ways system should be very nice.

  Out of curiosity I went over to Oplug and read the LX521 thread on amps. There's a post by a user named PPT that I assume is you. PPT asked a quesstion about the suitability of using Threshold amps with the speaker and got some responses. It didn't appear anything was deleted.
