Its a great piece of gear and it will do what you want it to
There is one fly in the oinkment tho and that is it's touch screen which is impossible to see at any meaningful distance. It does come with a remote , but you still got to see the screen so if its far from you , you have a problem. There is a wonderful solution if you have a smartphone or an Isomething , there is (free) both an I app and an android app to let your device act as a remote , you can see artwork etc on it. so you can let your ipad , ipod , itouch , iphone , droid phone , drpoid tablet control the whole bangshoot.
If you dont have an isomething or a droid phone , you can also use a low tech solution , a set of binoculars at the sitting position.

As an extra benefit you are then set to watch Fall migration out of your window. Next thing you know you will be out looking from the patio. Pretty quick you will find yourself wandering the wetlands getting healthier and relaxed while your stereo gathers dust and cob-webs.

LOL, I actually DO live right next to a nature reserve and in the middle of a bird sanctuary and have wonderful views of Table Mountain , cape town , the sea and robben eiland
Problem is a HUGE eagle has nested on our viewing deck and tries to attack us when we get near ... So I really have no choice but to hunker down with the music system....

Well... I can see how that could reduce the healthy, relaxingness of birding!
Actually my wife is a "serious birder" and about the last adjective I would use to describe the activities of her and her like-minded friends is "relaxing". But they seem to enjoy it none the less...
Sounds like a neat place to live. With the wildlife that close you can reserve the binoculars just for the stereo.

You also might wish to look at the Sonos. It is more flexible, easily becomes part of a wireless system with the Sonos bridge, but it is limited to 16/48 transport.
Yikes! I've flown within 50 feet of a bald eagle, but there was a plexiglass canopy separating me from beak and talons.
