Do you still have the network with multiple personality disorder broadcasting different SSIDs?
Mine has three separate access points to expand coverage, but they all sing the same song.
Follow Ups:
straight forward here in Santa Fe. Now back a couple years ago in San Francisco with three stories wired for ethernet and multiple switches, different situation.
But that doesn't mean finding network players is always easy. I can see them on IPScanner on my iPhone but they still don't play, that's mostly Pi Core Player and Squeeze Lite on the uRendu.
But MPD/DNLA seems to set up easier. Might have to force myself to use LMS in the bedroom.
That said, once up and running they tend to run for months unless I turn something off or go from one DAC to another.

Perhaps you should experiment with placement. The primary Linksys AC3000 access point lives in the office at the west end of the house. An older WAP300 live in the garage feeding the RPi and a Canary security camera.
I experimented with placement of the other AC3000 in order to cover the master bedroom at the east end and Rokus located in bedrooms upstairs. They broadcast 2.4 and 5 gHz simultaneously for optimum speed and coverage.
