$69.67 a pop, and my current DAC has FOUR of them!

Congrats, which DAC do you use now?
Looking forward to your thoughts now.
Very popular DAC chip in Bulgaria, I'm guessing? ;-)
Audio-GD Master 11 balanced DAC/Headphone/Preamp, two BB PCM1704U-K per channel, is in the house!
Unfortunately it includes a really good balanced headphone amp which means it currently moves from my easy chair in the living room where it's used with my HD-600 w/balanced cable, to the listening room upstairs in the loft where it's used in the main system.
And it's about 30 lbs and HUGE.
As about 1/2 to 3/4 of my listening is streaming I have no real need for DSD. No complaints except size and weight. I can generally buy an SACD for the cost of a download and am still happy with my silver disc spinner even with the new DAC in the house. Just reinforces what a bargain a used Marantz DV9500/DV9600 is if you can find a germ-free one on eBay as I did a year or two ago.
Very good, is the most popular in Slovakia ...I use the Aune to up sample everything to DSD 128, mostly CD rips.
Good for you, are you glad you took our advice here, and not just me saying that?
Have a nice weekend, :)
