Does anyone know whether/how this deck can be set to power up by default on the *USB Audio 2.0* input so one needn't toggle the remote's input button through its available options? It seems to default to *Blueray Player* mode but perhaps there's some hidden menu option somewhere to change that? If so, I can't find it. Anyone? -:)

Because this one has tubes inside. But someone already showed me how to do it. In the setup menu, there's a 'power on input' selection which allows one to deselect 'BluRay player' and instead 'last selection'. With that ticked off, if one powers down in USB mode, it comes back up in USB mode. Easy once one knows where to look. But then I've been known to overlook the dead obvious more than once -:)
My guess is that the folks at OPPO realize that the ESS SABRE DAC in the BDP-105 sounds AWFUL and are just trying to protect their customers ears via the default startup configuration route. ;-)
