  SB Touch is a linux computer running quite a stack of software, including the OS.
  
  I think by now everyone knows the SB Touch is running Linux. However compared to a home computer its software is very much scaled down and is very light as far as using computing resources.
  
  You are right, demands of consumers can be solved by software at least to the greater extent. Power supply and proper regulation [cleanliness of power] is always a concern.
