I built the Dickie & Macovski amplifier. The preamplifier on pcb, as well as the speaker protection. The speakers are a replica of the Temperance III from Newtronics with 2.8 ohms. The OTL amplifier drives the speakers without any problems. The wood of the speaker boxes is from the USA, light American oak. Best quality!

Looks nice! This is my Dickie-Mackovski OTL that I built a few years ago. Mine is a bit more utilitarian-looking than yours.
I'm using the original style of power supply (so the utility company's transformer in my front yard is the nearest iron-cored component!).
Never heard of them but they have a very novel look. Kudos to the design if it can drive 2.8 ohms.
