Call me old fashioned but that's hard to like.
Follow Ups:
Imho the recording in this case has a lot to do with it. The Ondine version is definitely more romantiscised.
It was originally the orchestral color that attracted me before the music got under my skin.
Cole Porter?
my skin might fall off. =:-0
That aren't really savored by Intercontemporain.
It's an extremely uncomfortable recording.
but for some reason the Lintu/Schmid on Ondine does not come up on any of my streaming service and I really like most of Hannu Lintu's work that I have heard.
But I ain't gonna BUY it so...
Search Lintu.
Now I have to listen to it AGAIN!
,
Albeit not as bad as the other one, but still...
So time the cleans the musical soul with some REAL music, above.
N
But, at least I don't have to BUY it and...
I can listen with the volume turned now LOW. ;-)
