A conductor and his orchestra--using the Mahler 6th in rehearsal, recording and performance.
*You'll love his singing.

Follow Ups:
I must say I didn't notice Zinman's singing, but I'll find one and re-listen. The worst recent example of a warbling conductor that I know if is Eliahu Inbal (with the CzPO) on his Exton "single point microphone" Mahler First.
This comes on a DVD in the box set of Zinman/Zurich Mahler symphonies. The recording of the 6th is one of the best in the box (which is very uneven).
In this documentary, I like the moment when they are doing a level check on the HAMMER and (practically) blow the ears off the engineer.
