There is a Dutch website that is uploading excellent quality videos of original instrument performances of everything Bach ever wrote, one BWV number per week. So far, they have uploaded 54 out of the 1080 works.
Many of the performers are well-known, and I have not heard any of the performances that were less than first-rate. Obviously this is not going to be the highest quality audio for this music you'll ever find, but what an opportunity to encounter familiar and unfamiliar masterpieces: http://www.allofbach.com
Unless you read Dutch, click the small set of horizontal lines in the upper right corner and choose EN to get the site in English.
This week, it's the St. Matthew Passion, Netherlands Bach Society conducted by Jos van Veldhoven. And if you like the performance, the same group has already recorded this in multichannel SACD, with good use of the surround channels.

That hurt!
I like the sackbut and bass viol. That kind of music just soothes the soul.
Just take those old records off the shelf
I'll sit and listen to 'em by myself
Today's music ain't got the same soul
I like that sackbut and bass viol.
Don't want Tilson Thomas out in Frisco
Philip Glass or Richard Danielpour
The New York Philharmonic any more
I like that sackbut and bass viol.
