It's an import titled Olympia Jul 11th, 73. It lists the tracks as
1) 31:08 Medley: Turnaroundaphrase,Tune in5, unidentified
2) 17:02 Ife but this is wrong, Ife (with its easily identifiable bass line is track 3) track two is a cool groove I haven't heard before and I have pretty much all the electric Miles.
3) 23:13 Unidentified but is Ife
From the first few seconds of track one you know you have something different. No Teo fingerprints on this recording. Not that it would be good or bad, just different.
Immediately Al Fosters high hat is cleaner than not only all the other live recordings but its better than the later studio efforts Man With The Horn and Star People too. Miles sounds good say like on Live/Evil's "Sivad" but there is little or noise floor unlike Live/Evil. The recording is nice fidelity and performance-wise but there is a couple of drawbacks. It sounds dead mono which isn't the worst thing. It seems the person on the board had happy fingers trying to get levels on track one. They start out fine but then after a minute you'll hear levels change, even drastically on pretty much everyone at some point as well as the total level. A bit annoying. Pete Cosey never seems to get high enough in the whole recording for me. This goes away after about halfway through track one and the rest of the recording is fine.
I again like the audio and the grooves before unheard and the price. I got it at Wayside Music for $8. Lots of other cool stuff there too.

informative, comparative. I enjoy reading these types of posts from someone who have the knowledge to do so.
Thanks for the kind words. I do consider myself an electric Miles lover and try to check everything I can. I am really impressed and surprised at some of the stuff that shows up on Youtube from the period. It's always great to see Miles' outfits at a minimum.
