I have most of these in the non-HIP performances by I Solisti Italiani on Denon. (It's getting harder and harder to find non-HIP versions of Vivaldi.) I also agree with John below that the vocal music can be beautiful and interesting. I particularly like this Naxos recording, featuring Canadian performers:

I figure it has something to do with using/not using period instruments, but what exactly does this acronym stand for?
