in great sound this is a must, it is on the Audite label and the recording is just beautiful. and so is the music.
It was recorded using only 2 omni directional microphones at the Emanuel church in Cologne.
These Italian organ concertos where unknown to me, especially the Johann Christian Bach.
The organ is obviously a Baroque organ thus no floor shaking bass but the sound it makes are just so lovely.
Definetely one of my best sounding cd.
I ordered the cd from MDT for a cost of about 11$.

I haven't gotten a J.C. Bach disc for a long time, but I'm even more excited to read from your post that this recording was made with just two omni-directional microphones. Right on! I might even put up with some vibratoless HIP playing to hear it! :-)BTW, I'm sure you're familiar with the story of the person who asked JC to explain the stylistic difference between his own music and that of his brother, CPE. JC analyzed it this way: "Ah yes - well, you see, Carl lives in order to compose, whereas I compose in order to live!"

This disc proves again that the recording is the key.
I am not a big fan of origininal instruments recordings but on this one they sound so beautiful.

$16.23 from amazon with "free" two-day shipping (I pay once a year for this feature).
And, it better not have even one "shake" on it.
