Return to Planar Speaker Asylum

Hi.I'm in big need of a fabric change on my speakers since the cat went bonanza on the speakers. Looks like shit...
I wonder if I have to remove the tweeters before unscrewing the big screws. Will this be enough to separate the two parts so I can "snap" on new fabric?

Check this picture out.
You will have to do some handy stuff there to change the fabric.
The one who succeeded was the one who didn't know it was impossible.
IIRC you will need to take off the tweeters, trim, legs and probably the connector plate and then a gazmillion staples to take off the old fabric. Or you can just let the cat finish the job. I have an old pair of Vandy 2C that have had a makeover by my cats and now sport an uneven afro of sorts....
If it is only the front grill that need replacing, there is no need to remove the ribbon tweeter and the connector plate on the back. There is an inner black sock too, the same as you see in the back. That sock can only be replaced after removing the ribbon tweeter, the connector plates and many staples...
