I called them up yesterday. After explaining the symptom, she told me to go ahead and open up the plate/panel. Apparently they think something may have been disconnected during delivery. I looked inside, wiggled the connectors and checked the connectivity with Mulitmeter between the terminals and the wires, nothing was open.
Put back up, I got back the treble but I am still cautious until I verify this over the week.
By the way is there a schematic available for the xovers of the MMG? Would love to see it.

This is all i have seen.....Yours dose not have the 25mf cap across the base...this is on the older mmgs....but can be add,ed.......goodluck

Thanks! So the LF only has the inductor on the newer MMGs. Does the 25uF cap help any, I assume it filters out low frequency values so the cutoff is higher on the older MMGs?

I do not have the mmgs....minny others do....i have older Mg3a..2.5r..an Mg2c....the 2c are like the mmgs in some ways...just not Qr foil for tweeters...wire for tweeters...i have put a 20mf cap in the 2cs across the base driver....an i like what it dose... it not coming out..it makes the sound fuller..sweeter...with out the cap thay can sound a littel hot ..an in your face ...it seems to make the base drive match better with the top driver ...but this is just one mans o-pin others that have the mmg can say more.......goodluck
