You'd think perhaps that these people had more cash for modding since the larger models they own cost so much more to begin with, but I have not done a 20 and the 3 series remains the model I've done the fewest times.
The MMG is still king. (followed closely by the 1.6) I had a 20 on the line once but he got away :^ ) I'm not aware of anyone ever posting any pics or info about the model ever either.
It's all about the music...

Maybe they're happy with how their 20.1's sound.
I would love to hear the 20's, but to be honest, I am not sure if I would know what to do with such a large speaker. And I am pretty sure I have enough room, too, so I am not talking about that per se.
But I haven't heard them, so I don't really know what I am talking about. Maybe they scale more than their sheer size suggests they could. But I can't help but think that they would always make me think to myself, whelp, guess I gotta listen to Mahler tonight, again.
optimally proportioned triangles are our friends
The main mistake people make with Maggies, I think, aside from giving them too little power, is not giving them enough room. My MMGs are 7 feet from the back wall and about 8 feet from my listening position, and they have about three feet of clearance from the side walls. No way I could accommodate 20's in my room, not that I could afford the 20's anyway.
If I had the room and spare cash, I would jump on 'em. In fact, I wouldn't bother with the 1.6/1.7, good as they are. I like my MMG's so much that I wouldn't want to upgrade them unless I was getting 3.6's or 20.1's or whatever their equivalents will be in the future. Looks like I'm stuck with the little Maggies . . . ;)
