the duelund resistors REALLY make a difference. The glare in this untreated room is reduce 100 fold. In my livingroom there are essentially four hard/cold walls and two windows. The glare on some disc was so intense at times; it literally gave me toothaches!
I never was a fan of resistors fearing lost of high end detail but here there's absolutely none of that going on here.
I highly recommend em' if glare and/or harshness is plaguing your system.
They're not cheap in relative terms; standard resistors start at about $0.40 whereas these ran me $39 a pop. 'Relative' being thats about what you'd spend on a single fake ficus tree...
Well I've got some listening;burning in to do. I'll give a small insight on these tweaks at a later date...'Ciao!

Thirtynine dollars each? Well, I hope they are good. I think I'll stick with my Mills resistors. I paralleled them to decrease possible power handling problems, and thought I was being extravagant spending $7/channel!
What value did you use?
Rod
I bought a pair of 1 ohm DUELUND-68872 @ $18.95 each. He must have a pair in each speaker - all available values are the same price. They are really nice resistors.

I looked around a little and couldn't find power handling specs on the Duelunds. Do you guys happen to know off hand?
Rod
They are 10 to 15 watt, which seems quite sufficient.

My very first impression was that the 'air' had been let out of my system, but it didn't last very long. About halfway into the first song I played after going to Voldermort's XO, my jaw fell away as the corners of my mouth drew upwards, creating one hell of a Jokeresque smile. It struck me that all I had lost was that 'edge', and I thought, "I could listen to this all day!" I'm still smiling. Those resistors are worth every penny!
