IME, the sound changes were immediate and the improvement was remarkable. Further changes can occur by filling the bases and struts but at this point I am happy with them as they came. I am not sure that there is any "break in" with the Mye Stand.

Umm. Not sure how to answer that one. Maybe Grant has some theories. I've never been aware of stands requiring a break-in period, but I'm always ready to listen to any thoughts others might have. For the record I don't recall the sound of my pair changing over time, but who knows.

Grant says my stands for my 1.6 pair are about to ship....I will post detailed pics of the break-in process.
