  inside joke: reference to my McIntosh 2002 that showed up shattered. Nothing earth shattering so far but I need to let it burn in 200 hours. Ill tell you one thing, it has more gain then the Bryston.

      last night for a brief moment, on channel then another. And the gain is still not equal to the BK REF 4420. Have to boost its volume!! BUT the sound is clearer than ever. On the other forum i have mentined (beaten it to death) the wonderful Andreas Vollenweider live,a d how it ghas th best sound of any disc. But now it is out re mastered. I wondered, why remaster the best sounding CD ever.
      
      Tape hiss.
      
      Never heard it before. With the Spectron on top, CLEAR as day. Very faint, but there it is on two of the long works. There is nothing like it for detail. By the way, with permission. looked inside, bunch of nothing, $250 worth of parts.
      
      These amps will replace SS as we know it.
      
      Very revealing. Also unbelievable focus of the singer, dead center, 6 inches wide.

  unfortuneatley, still the BK REF 4420 on the bottoms. Those XO for the MG20s are harder to find than rocking horse shit.
  I do searches every day of Cragis, eBay. Agone, Canuck, NO ONE has them for sale. Everyone says active is better. So Bryston 10b.

    I ordered a full set of Brystons for my 2 channel/HT. Chompin at the bit here. gonna be about 6 weeks to get everything, amps and power conditioners. First 2 are here, but still have 4 more pieces to go. Oh well, maybe it will be worth the wait.
