Anyone using SoundID REference for their headphone listening. I started the trial and it seems to significantly improve my Senn 650 phones driven with FIIO dac/amp. Much better bass and some "presence" in the upper mids.
I guess the concept is that they have measured and "profiled" various headphone models and preprogrammed EQ to correct that phone model's variation from flat.
About $99 for headphone only application...
Anyone?

Follow Ups:
Do you know if the EQ is graphic or peq? Will it output the settings to a file? It would be interesting to compare to some of the peq profiles I use in Peace.
I believe graphic EQ.
There are options to create "custom" EQ profiles. Haven't tried, but I have to believe the custom profiles can be saved to files.
Could not - so far - get the software to process stream from the Amazon music app unfortunately.
