How do you like the L700 pair?

Follow Ups:
The L700 has really captivated me, along with the tubed 007tll energizer, I've found a whole new appreciation for my music.I didn't audition any of the other models within the line so I'm not qualified to give an assessment of how they compare to the rest of the line but this specific set up so really moves me emotionally when I have a high quality recording. And this coming from a guy that has a fairly resolving home audio speaker system that I've worked on for years.
Electrostatics are a whole different ballgame, at least for me, I have ET planar room speakers but they don't do anything like my Stax system.
One last comment, be prepared to spent come cash, these systems are not cheap and I barely just scratched the surface price wise. I want to and hope to call this my end game, I just hope I can keep my wallet in my pocket.

I have the very same sentiment. The speed, clarity, and resolution of stats make them an absolute game changer. The next step will be the SR-007 pair, but not for a while. I currently use the SR-507 pair & love them very dearly. My 207 earspeakers blew my mind as my first experience with stats. My energizer needs an upgrade.
From what you hinted, you may have a serious front end. I don't, but it meets my needs for now & satisfies a certain level of convenience. The next big steps are a better DAC, SACD/ universal player, probably an SRM-353X energizer, and a good vinyl rig. A recent guitar purchase has put some of those purchases off for about a year or so. The DAC & SACD player will probably be the first upgrades to the system.

...Yes, yes, yes! And definitely the 007s over the 9s, cheaper and I read more natural sounding but harder to drive. And very cool, I've got a Les Paul Sunburst I bought fresh out of college in the mid '80s that I will never part with. I understand.
