OMG this $25 can rocks. Definately the can for the budget conscious.
This with a Behringer uca-222 and you have a $50 headphone experience that is probably better than alot out there. But do use the behringer asio driver for the best sound.
You may want to get some better pads but the stock pads are OK and its light anyhow.

that should be a good combo. With my Walnut V2S and its high output Z of ~100 ohms,"Modern Retro", "8323" Monoprice and Superlux HD562 sound horribly uncontrolled and dark in the bass as does my Panasonic HJX5 IEM. In contrast, my Douk mini DAC with 70 cent MAX4410 headphone driver chip sounds pretty darn good. I conclude that many headphones are best overall driven by a reasonably low source impedance to prevent weird inaction with the headphone's input impedance. (and capacitor coupling to the earphones could exacerbate the situation) Some users of the Zishan and Walnut players with the high Z-out use their line output into a separate amp. Seems like that could have been avoided from the getgo - lol

Yo Freddi,
Thats a good point about the amp impedance and need for matching.
For $50 the Modern Retro and Behringer is off the hook.
That walnut looks good to me.
