Hi,
I'm assembling a Tu-8100 kit and need some advice.
In the kit are two 0.33ohm resistors for the R33 R34 positions. The supplied resistors have correct colour code orange-orange-silver-gold, but they both measured way off at 0.55ohm. Should I replace them? Or is it common for low value resistors to measure way off? These are the only green bodied resistors in the kit, what type of resistors are these?
Thanks.

Sorry, this wasn't exactly what I meant to ask. What I meant to ask was this: Is it common for multimeters to give very inaccurate readings when measuring low value resistors?
You actually need a special tester to do it. I've seen something on one of the sites and you would measure the voltage drop across resistor thru a LM317 constant current source, or something like that. I want to say it was in DIY Audio, You'll have to look. But measuring low ohmage resistors is so difficult because of the series resistance of the test leads. HTH
