What kind of network do you have? IOW- How do you get your internet connection?

You are also suffering quite a bit from Analysis Paralysis. You are spending a lot of time thinking and fretting over 'tweaks'. Right now you should be concentrated on just getting something going. And Inexpensive!
Don't spend a lot of money, as you really don't have a clue of what you're doing. After streaming for a year or so with a raspberry Pi and you understand how it sounds, you'll be in a better position to tweak or spend some money.

Personally I can buy whatever piece of Audio Gear that I want. But I am quite happy using a raspberry Pie for a streamer. I see no need to spend money on something I won't be able to hear and line the pockets of people laughing all the way to the bank. I have used a Raspberry PI for over 10 years. I sold all of my expensive CD Players 10 years ago.

Here is a picture of my Audio Room. I don't see a lot lacking here, do you?
