I am looking for an integrated tube amp - like the Jadis Orchestera/JOR - which is virtually impossible to find used - that is less than 12" in depth for an office system. System: Creek 5350 SE, Jolida JD 100 mod 1, with Amperex Bugle Boys and Siemens tubes, Proac Response 1 bi-wired. Sounds geat, but I miss the tubes:)
Any suggestions welcomed.

...from Jolida. I have the 1300 model just prior to this one. Only difference I see is that mine is black. Great full rich sound for 30WPC and very solidly built.
Thank you, Hepcat. I think I would like a Jadis Orchestra, which I cant find used or one of the SET amps. I'm trying to get an idea of how many watts will be sufficient to drive 8 ohm 86 db Proac 1s.

Hi hepcap,
There are a few other minor difference between the older (Black Face) and newest version. The new versions now house a much better quality volume control, the Alps Blue. The new version also has a new transformer. I haven't noticed that the new tranny provides any difference in sonics but it is "different" none the less. I feel the volume control made more difference!!Another small footprint amp would be the Jolida 102B all tube integrated. Not taking up much more space than the JD1301 hybrid.

Build your system for yourself, not the critics!
That is strange. The volume control on my 1300 is one the most solid I ever used. Perhaps I have a later version - or the newer volume control is somehow better now.
