Preamp Part 3- power supply

Posted by deafbykhorns on September 20, 2017 at 15:42:57:

Working on design and acquiring parts for power supply for 301a preamp(see previous part 1&2). Parts already in route for filament supplies and chassis HV.
I'm not well versed on the different rectifiers other than the typical 5u4, 5ar4, 274,5y3 and a couple of the MV rectifiers.
I figured about 225-250v, 100ma for both channels in case I decided to try a different triode.

Couple questions-
Would a single supply be ok with two channels using triodes?
If so, would LCLC with final RC to each channel be sufficient? I may do some regulation to reduce impedance which should reduce any crosstalk.
Any other tubes come to mind other than mentioned above? Something with slow warmup would be nice to give the low voltage filament supplies a chance to startup first.
I thought about something cool like the 82 but not sure I like the MV part....
