Trying to become a contributor

Hi
I want to be a contributor and pay through paypal.The link just keeps sending me round in circles.Screens comes up and say the site is partially unsecure,than I found another message saying it is secure.
All to complicated for me. Still want to contribute but can't seem to do it or be sure it is secure.
