Etymotic ER-4P/S IEM headphones

Are the Etymotic ER-4P and ER-4S a good choice for IEM headphones? If so, which would work best plugged into the Wavelength Proton USB DAC?

Is anyone clear on what the ER-4PT adds over the ER-4P? I've read the difference described as extra adapters but the description I've read of the ER-4P sounds like it comes with adapters too.
