It's hard to find brand new top-of-the-line "flagship" headphones on sale anywhere because putting those models on sale would probably be bad for the company's image. Actually, I'd be wary of buying *new* discounted flagship headphones from an unauthorized dealer or liquidation reseller. Described as "as new", "open box/demo", or "B-stock", and often sold without a warranty.

Lightly used flagship headphones seem to be fairly plentiful in the used market. Expect to pay 1/2 - 2/3 of full retail for a lightly used pair of flagship headphones.
