I've heard little about the Chord so far, but I've heard plenty about the Decware.

Decware products come with a lifetime warranty and are as close to "Made in the USA" as you are going to find.

The UK makes some excellent products too, but getting warranty/repair service for products from the EU might not be as easy as with those made in the USA.

I'd probably go for the Decware, but that's just me.

However, if portability and a DAC is high on your list of priorities then the choice is obvious: Go with the Chord.
