Question for those with Sennheiser HD series

Posted by vinyl survivor on December 2, 2012 at 20:26:02:

I have a pair of Sennheiser HD 600's that I have had for about 14 years. The foam piece that covers the speaker inside the ear cup on the right ear has disintegrated. I called Sennheiser a while back to buy a replacement and they did not offer a replacement. Has anyone else had this happen? If so, does anyone know of a source for this material? Without the thin foam piece, I can hear a difference between the left and right channels. Thanks in advance for your help.
