Anyone doubting this ought to read his very recent review of the Cambridge CXA81 MKII amp; see link below.
True that Amir say he considers SINAD to be a good single-number indicator because it generally correlates with other test results. However the reader can check out the variety of other test results he delivers. Personally I pay more attention to the spectrum of harmonic distortion and also distortion across the frequency range at various power levels.
