a 1k resistor in parallel with 47k gives an impedance of about 976 ohms. The formula is 1/ (1/47000 + 1/x where x is the value of the resistor).
A 1050 ohm resistor will give a load of 1024 ohms or so.Generally, loading a MC lowers its output and damps its high frequency peak. How that translates into sound is really system dependent.
