dl-103 loading via step-up / matching confusion

Have been reading 100's of back posts here and getting confused.

Denon makes the au-300 that apparently is 470 ohms.

many Lundahl users like 70 to 150 ohms with their dl-103s.

Then again, Cinemag users (most) say their 103s like the 39 ohms reflected with the 1:32 ratio- but one finds the dl-103 loaded at this 39 ohms to be brighter or edgier than 100-150 ohms?
this is backwards of what one would expect. wouldn't the lower ohms would be consider more load and take some edge or dynamics off ?

anyway, I am trying to decide between ortofon t20, lundahl, and cinemag to feed the dl-103 into a monolithic pS-1. My mind is boggled- cant seem to make it up ! many posts now say cine is superior, then I read comment it was dark. someone thought lundahls are too sweet but many another finds them great.

If anyone has heard the 103 with any of these trans into a similar ss stage, what did you think.
