I have the generic 2 point protractor from Turntable Basics (plasic mirror) and since Today the disc supplied with the Hifi News Test record. The latter states that its 2 point protractor is only valid for 9" tonearms. Otherwise you have to use the 1 point tool on the disc. Now I have read a lot about aligning the 103R on the 1210 and I was under the impression that you could/should use the 2 point protractor. But on other treads I read that the arm isn't 9" exactly. So my question is, if I use the mirrored 2 point protractor from Turntable Basics to adjust Overhang and Zenith, am I doing okay?
