Not necessarily. Mine are, but there is a camp that maintains that a parallel relationship isn't a hard and fast requirement. VTA is an issue which is dependent on various factors. I would suggest that you read the material at Vanden den Hul's website where he gives specific recommendations for VTA settings of his cartridges. Not only will you find it to be an interesting read, you will find it surprising.
