I live in the boonies - about 4 hours north of Toronto. All of my musical purchases are based on what's available and on reviews.
That may sound ridiculous, but the option of "try it at home" just doesn't exist.
I understand the P10 is well thought of as compared to the P9, but then remind myself of all the glowing reviews the P9 received from so many.
I have a Clearaudio Innovation Compact now with the Universal tonearm and the VTA lifter. I like the sound of it, it's likely the best turntable I have owned.
However, after having recorded over 1,500 LPs and not buying them any more, I can see a future without any turntable.
