HowdyPerhaps star grounding: run a single wire from the chassis of each component to your preamp and lift the grounds on each of the components except your preamp. Some might argue that you want to avoid lifting the grounds with cheater plugs in the long run since that's another connection that you don't need, but cheater plugs will allow simple testing to see if the star grounding works for you.
