Hmmmm... IF solens are not producing the Detail/Frequencies that yer Wanting.. Then you've got "Other Problems" in your System Mate.
That most assuredly is NOT the normal complaint with Solens :-)
Have done a fair bit of experimenting.. and Solens are 'best of the Bunch' for Speed/detail. often way too much for lotsa Systems.. so then people start looking for 'warmer'sounding caps..
all of which you mention will sound much 'duller'.. especially so if yer wanting more sizzle than Solens provide.
Can only assume that yer Source and more 'n likely yer Amplification is 'Wanting'... big time.
