Impedance mismatch with cal sigma 2 and amp???

12.73.221.42

Hey guys. I recently picked up the newer version of the cal sigma 2(non 24/96 manufactured in 96) with the input select button on the front and its sounding no where near as dynamic and full as the sigma 2(without the input select on front, manufac. in 93) I sold a month ago.
I opened it up and did noticed the chips are very different from the older version.

The sigma I now have has an output impedance of 2k ohms and output voltage of 3.5

My tube amp has an input impedance of 100k.

Does anyone know if there is anyway to fix this problem? I seem to have gaps in the lowend spectrum and the highs seem overly bright. Did the early sigmas have a higher output impedance? how much?

Just to experiment, I hooked the sigma up to a denon 3803 receiver with an input imdeance of 47k ohms and things sounded whole lot better with much more dynamics and bass.

thanks for reading
