Thank you for the info!

I bypassed the balance control and wasn't happy with the L/R balance. I ordered a new balance control and filter capacitors from Bryston. The new balance control is Alps and requires circuit modification. Bryston is including a free copy of the schematic!

While in there I will upgrade the polycarbonate capacitors to Solen polypropeline, and also upgrade the the coupling caps between stages to black gate PK. I know the BG PK's are not the best choice but limited space forces this decision. Total cost of this parts upgrade is $78.00 Canadian!

For anyone interested, I will post pictures of the modification.
